Description
The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) hosts an annual conference for our chapter, council and community leaders. This conference usually obtains about 1,000 attendees every year. For several years the website for this conference was dated and needed a major update.
I presented several template options to our Marketing and Events departments based on websites for similar conferences. We selected a template that we felt would provide a modern look and feel, provide simplicity for content management and adaptability for other conferences.
Using the graphics provide by Marketing, I built the new website on our WordPress platform. Every year the site is refreshed with a new branded theme, but retains the same look and feel that the template provides. We have also used this template for international versions of the Facility Fusion conference and other conferences as well. These sites have obtained tremendous feedback from the stakeholders.
